Meniscus fixed - rehabbing
Found a great doctor...fixed the meniscus, and was doing great, but started doing some weight training and I think it might be a little to soon. Will check with the physical therapist on Monday, because limping again, some pain on the inside of the knee

Meniscus tear and my weight and age
I quit smoking 2 1/2 years ago. I gained 40 lbs since then
I started fat secret at 124 lbs, but since last year only lost 12 lbs. I have not been very motivated. In feb I tore my meniscus. I had a cortisone injection to stop the pain for a while, because I was starting a new job! I am ready to get it fixed and I have seen two orthopedic surgeons. One told me to wait until it hurts again, but that I need to loose weight. The other told me to just keep getting the injections, because I am old almost 60, and I probably wouldn't heal very well, and also I could loose some weight!! He did not think I needed to be seen again! Well, I decided I will loose at least 30 pounds and then I will find a doctor to fix my knee who doesn't think I am too old and hopefully not too fat!
