I'm 32 years & married for 12 years. I'm currently working 2 jobs, one as a vet tech & one waitressing. I don't have children, but I do have a few pets -- 4 birds & a dog.

I've always been on the chubby side, ever since puberty. Hence, I have tried every diet in the world -- Slim Fast, Weight Watchers, Atkins, South Beach, Carbohydrate Addicts, LA Weightloss, and even the recent Cookie Diet. At my highest weight, I was 220 & am now hovering somewhere around 160. I was down to about 156, but have lost my motivation & have gotten a little derailed in my weightloss efforts. I always go back to my bad eating habits. I'd like to get down to 125-130, but am not putting a lot of pressure on myself right now. I have several situations in my life that are causing a great deal of stress & I know I can't commit to any particular diet. In fact, I've kind of made up my mind I'm done with diets. So, my plan right now is to slowly start incorporating good habits into my life instead of going on some crazy 800 calorie cookie diet again!

My three areas of weakness when it comes to losing weight are: motivation, eating out too frequently (& then making poor choices), & exercise. I've never been a fan of working out, but I know I need to get there somehow.

2/1/08 -- When you see that I've gained 4 lbs in 3 days, don't be alarmed! When I put in 160 the day I signed up, it was only an estimate. Got brave & weighed myself today . . . HOLY CRAP!
