I am 20 years old, I'll be 21 in February though. I am a college student and the biggest threat I have is the cafeteria :)
I'm trying to lose weight because I'm a coxswain on the crew team here and my coach told me that i need to stop bringing so much dead weight into the boat. As a cox all i do is sit in the front so the rowers have to pull along my weight. So he said that if I cared about my rowers and my position as the varsity cox i had to get down to about 125. This was last spring, and i weighed about 166 then. A lot of people were like, oh he's a jerk! but i think it was just the kick in the ass i needed to do this. All my roommates (there are 6 of them) are doing WW with me, which really, for us cheapies just means keeping track of our points, but i know that watching what i'm putting in my mouth is going to be a big step in bringing me to my goals
Updating this: I've been on fatsecret now for... 3 years? For the most part, I ignored it but occasionally I come on and check in. I guess I've become a success story on here; I'm now 22 years old, graduated college, have 2 part time jobs I really like, and weigh in at 128 lbs. I want to weigh 118 pounds since that seems optimal for someone who is my height (5'1) also have had some medical stuff come up since I first joined and the doctors main advice was "lose some weight". So that's what I've been doing. With ten pounds to go, losing weight has never been so hard, but I'm not gaining.
