After the 3rd day my sugar/junk food addiction was gone. I made a chocolate cake from scratch as well as the icing and didn't even like the spoon. I'm a chocoholic. The chocolate almonds - 11 a day for snack are perfect.
If you need a Lifestyle change, I recommend this diet. I'm content all of the time and have food whenever I need it.
Come Sunday, the wine and fruit will be added. We'll see how this makes me feel. For now, the Eliptical maching and weight work out has brought back my Vitality and the diet has brought control and contentment.

My friends at work & I have designed a 3 month challenge that begins with a 10 day Wave 1 challenge, with a reward at each accomplishment. I've chosen the Sonoma Diet for this 3 month period to try to develop better eating habits. For now, 10 days is all I'm focusing on. 5/7 days exercising, sleep 7 hrs/day, 8 glasses water and Sonoma. Will weigh in in 10 days.

I love this site! All of the people (you) on here give me such great ideas and just reading the daily comments make me happy and hope for each of you to do great and reach your goals. Last week I ate and logged it to see what I was eating and the values in the food. I walked on Saturday for an hour that killed my feet. This week I'm going to try something a little more strenuous. My food will be more regulated and my exercise (walk or dance)5 days out of 7. I'll try to find a challenge to match that. If I can go for 1 week, I'll try for 2 because I have a Doctor's appointment at the end of March that I'd like to show a little healthier on and a few pounds down. My husband and I have set a goal not to eat out - it is saving us $18/nite average and a lot of empty calories. BTW, I saw on TV this week Dr. Hayman said if you journal, you lose a lot more weight than those who don't. The journal on here is great.
