So I have been sticking to my diet and I would say eating a few nibbles here and there but the 1200 calorie a day thing is going well. Most of my teens and early 20s I would try to restrict what I ate to under 1000 calories a day, usually aiming for 500-600. I would always end up in a binge/purge session. I haven’t purged in a long time, but my eating habits have never really been able to balance.
I always thought 1200 to be ehhh…. But by doing this I didn’t realize how much I have been eating. No wonder I haven’t been able to lose weight! So each day this week I have been eating around 1200 and exercising a half an hour (3 days a week so far and my goal is 4times in April).
I did Jillian Michaels ripped in 30 today.
A ramble yes, but I am quite happy with how things are going and I don’t feel I am depriving myself. I hope this will help me get out of the restriction/binging thing that has plagued me for most of my life.

so sticking to 1200 a day is working quite well. I exercised yesterday morning and then did light leg lifts while reading in bed during the evening. I am happy about this (not so happy that it is the middle of April and we have snow - it was 70 on monday! oh well that is what NE is all about. You keep your snow scrapers in your car all year long)

woo-hoo! stuck to my diet almost perfectly.
Last night was tough for me because I get that binge eating at night thing. I am bored or my brain screams at me to eat even when I am not hungry. I actually drank a can of soda (not diet)to pass the craving. I am not proud of that (we usually don't have soda in the house) but I actually thought it would help me more to drink some fizz as opposed to eating a snack that wouldn't satisfy me, then eating more, etc. I know my patterns.
so I lost some weight and worked out this morning. feeling good and motivated.
I have a cake decorating class tonight so I am determined to not eat any frosting. I had to make homemade last night from crisco and sugar... wow that is seriously bad for you.

this is the tough part of the day. I stuck to my plan (with a few chips)... now I got to get through the night. Boredom eating is calling me but I wont give in.
