Hi there! I am 38 years old and have struggled with my weight all my life. When I was a Junior in High School, I weighed 156 at 5'7" and though I was fat. I went on a diet, took phen-phen, and lost 30 pounds. I was skinny for the first time in my life. But, of course....I stopped taking those magic pills and gained it all back, and then some. I've been doing this yo-yo dieting for YEARS and have gained and lost the same 25-35 pounds so many times - always putting on a few more when I go up. I blame it on that VERY FIRST DIET...I wish I would have been happy with myself then, and I'd certainly be happy around 156 now. So, here we are again, my ALL OR NOTHING self, either eating everything or next to nothing. I'm working on SOMEHOW finding that middle ground. I want to lose the weight and KEEP IT OFF. Mostly, I want to be a healthy role model for my 2 gorgeous daughters, ages 11 and 4.
