Been over 1 year since my last weigh-in, and oh boy! I've gained 25 pounds! Actually more than that. Have remained on Pescatarian (won't eat meat, but will eat fish) diet this whole time.

Obstacles:
1. I thought I was being dairy-free & just eating eggs, for their protein value and didn't concern myself with a little cheese here and there. I was making sure that I was eating 2 eggs each day, since there is conflicting information about eggs causing high cholesterol and artery blockage, and I was worried I wasn't getting enough protein. I know better now. I get plenty of protein from plants. Last doctor visit was a year ago, and my Triglycerides and LDL's were at acceptable levels. I'll bet they're even better now, without eating eggs.

2. I also just changed from an active job, to a sedentary job the month of my last weigh-in a year ago. Blood pressure is high again, and I have problems with Edema. Must be the weight.

3. Just weighed at drug store yesterday, while picking up a prescription after my dental surgery getting denture implants, so that I can eat without injuring the inside of my mouth with a loose denture plate. This should help me be able to eat the fruits & vegetables I've been avoiding! Mouth is still very slow and I have to eat soft foods for about a week. Glad to have a good food chopper!

4. It'll take 4 months before the implants can be used, so got right to it after landing my new (like I said, sedentary) job. I'll be eating gingerly for quite a while while these implants are healing and my new dentures are fitted. Since I feel so much better and my waistline has changed, not to mention my slenderized neck & shoulders, I'll bet that weight is actually down from what it had been before going PBWF.

5. I guess I can't call myself going all PBWF, since not eating fish is more difficult for me. Even though fish meat is meat, I don't put them in the same category as animals, and I still like eating fish and shell-fish.

6. Have health club benefits too, so I have a gym membership. Getting a solid schedule in place has been a challenge, even though I feel so good after a good work-out.

Watched the inspiring 'What the Health' documentary on Netflix last night. I recommend it to anyone with weight issues, and/or if you're taking medications to help you live with the effects of heart/respiratory/inflammation/cancer & diabetes. Cinched it for me, the reason why I don't want to eat what others think everybody should eat (esp. the government and all of the health associations that are taking money from the very corporations that are causing the health risks they're spending money on researching "cures" for). I absolutely know what is healthy to eat to avoid disease and obesity. I'm sticking with what I know, and not listening to others' idea of what a body needs to be healthy, strong, and disease free. (*Stepping off of my soapbox).
