It is truly a wonderful feeling, not having the inflamation and edema that eating wheat gluten has plagued me with for so long.
New diet: Pescetarian, gluten-free

It's amazing how much weight I take off while potato hacking. The real trick is keeping it off while not eating just potatoes. I'm always so hungry for non-potato foods that I am wanting way too much food on those 2-3 days even though all the food is still within the acceptable food range. I just can't get enough! Potatoes are an amazing diuretic. I think I loose 5 lbs of water weight after eat potato hack.
I am now certain it is wheat gluten that is causing edema and inflammation.

Finally went Vegan!had gotten to 226 when, totally fed up, I decided to reboot and stick with WFPB continously.
I lost 7 pounds after rebooting using Potato Hack and am only on my 2nd 3-day hack. I've lost the edema that has been hindering many of my abilities.
I can actually see the shape of my calves now, even after a whole day of sedentary work! My BP has been consistently at levels I've never seen before (116/67). My BP med includes a diuretic, that has never worked to the extent that all of the edema goes away.

The weight gain reflects my lack of exercise and consumption of fatty foods.
Went to the beach for my Birthday weekend. Climbed many stairs, while carrying luggage, to get to the room with the perfect ocean view. Crippled me for next few weeks! I need knee replacement, but not in the plans. Ate a lot of crab with garlic butter, per my request. Knee has recovered considerably. Back to my walking at work. Can feel the added weight in many ways. Putting it in the rear-view.
