I am 37 years old. Married and a mother of 2 kids. I have had the lap band for almost 4 years and have gained most of my weight back. It has been a constant struggle with the device. I now realize that I only have to use it as a tool and still watch what I eat. I have been successful in the past journaling and hope this site will help
