I am a Stay at home mom. I am over worked and underpaid (time to ask for a raise). I started gaining weight after my first baby (13yrs ago) and when I moved from PA to TN I instantly gained 25lbs. You just breath the air in the south and you get fat. Literately, there is so much fast food, deep frying down here. I have tried every diet out there, have spent thousands on any quick fix and have only managed to lose a few pounds before I would get bored and give up. My last attempt was diet pills the my MIL and SIL insisted that I try because they were on the. Yeah I gave in and gave them a try. I went down 13lbs sure but I also did not eat, almost blacked out a few times and any day I would not take them I would eat like there was a shortage on food. I knew it was not safe and would be another short fix.
So now I am on Atkins, I know that only low carb/sugar will work for my body. I have know this for a LONG time I just did not want to give up my bread, chips, cookies, cereal, and other bake goods. However I want my health more than any sweet can offer for such a short time, and have already lost 4lbs. This is the most in a week I have ever lost just by eating right. Water weight, could be but still the most I have ever lost in a week. I am looking forward to Ketosis baby. I will be a fat burning machine!!
