This past weekend, after losing 7lbs. during the week, did not go as planned. We took the kids to laser tag and went for pizza after. Instead of just eating the topping I ate the whole pizza, crust and all. Okay woke up the next day with 2lb gain. Saturday we took the kids to 3 movies with all you can eat popcorn and a bag full of candy. Who went on a binge? Me, you would think it was the end of the candy/popcorn supply because I pigged out. We then went bowling where again I ate a small personal pizza and french fries. Ugh, Next morning weigh in 5lbs. Yep I just undid a whole week of weight lost. I was so mad at myself I just kept eating. I ate so much cereal that I thought I was going to bust and a few oreo's. Well Monday I was at 246 which really P*ssed me off.
Tuesday I went back to eating Atkins and this morning after working very hard not to eat every last bit of cereal I am down to 241, I will take it. I am almost back down. 238 is where I was before I blew it. I have to learn to control my eating when i am out with family.

So I am in a challenge and in the end (6 weeks) we are hoping to be able to do 200 squats. I did not want to burn myself out try so I put in my 30 day shred, and realized how far I really have to go. Just the few Jillian has you do with the weights were killer as it is. My legs have so much work to do and even though the scale is moving I know that there is still sooooo much work ahead. I cant wait to see how I fee in 6 weeks from now. Hopefully I can look back and say "Wow, I have come a long ways".
I am 9lbs from my first goal weight which will be 229lb and make it stick. I have not been there for about 6 years. My next little goal will be 225 then 215 then Onderland. When you type it out is seems so far away and maybe I fear the work and discipline it will take to get there. Or maybe I am scare of the confidence I will be gaining. What ever the fear is I know it is there, and I have to push through it. Most times the fear gets the best of me or my cockiness and I go back to bad eating habits thinking I can get away with it and then I am back up.
So far I am 6 days in this, still early I know but I have not cheated, and i am loving the result. This is the most weight I have lost in a week just by cutting out the carbs and resisting the need to stress eat. I had a dream last night that I ate 3 cookies and was thinking what can it hurt. That is usually how it goes and that is when i fall off the "wagon" because the scale will show the results of giving in and I give up.
Well here is to 2012, the end of the earth but the year I lose weight. lol.
