I learned something over the past few weeks: I'm not going to track what I eat! It wasn't hard to figure out because I just wasn't doing it. But more importantly, I'm learning that I don't have to track my intake to lose weight! Eureka! I've found a way to eat most of what I have been eating(minus the pop). The key for me is eating often & in small amounts. I NEVER eat seconds of anything anymore. And if I want something bad, I eat half of a serving or even just a bite. When I stepped on the scale about 2 weeks ago & I was up to 212 lbs & that set me back in motion! That moment terrified me since I haven't weighed that much since my pregnancy. I'm now sitting at 205 & my goal is to reach 200 by May. I've done the "Fast & Furious" approach to weight loss along with a dozen other fad diets & I'm done with all that! I'm eating more produce, less junk, & drinking lots of water. I keep busy with my little ones outside & I fill my mind with other things besides my food obsession. So far it is working & I'm thrilled to find a good fit for me!

I've finally found my way back to FS! I'm starting all over & at a higher weight than before. Over the holidays I didn't try to be good at all. I've let the stresses of life take me over & use them as excuses. I told myself that because I have twin boys who are 3 years old I'm just going to have to "medicate" myself with food. In my head, I'd somehow made all my bad choices be acceptable. The last couple days I've been reeling in those bad habits & stopping after my first helping of food, instead of having thirds. Sugar has been my biggest comfort, so I'm keeping away from it as much as possible. Step 1 for me is cutting out pop, which is so bad because I've been drinking regular pop. Step 2 is tracking what I'm doing-which I'm starting back up today. I'm going to take things slowly this time, because I don't want to get frustrated & discouraged too quickly. Within a couple weeks, I hope to have an exercise routine set up.
