Current Weight

Goal Weight
145.0 lb
Still to go: 30.6 lb
I was 230 pounds back in high school... I dropped down to 180 by the time I got out, thanks to Martial Arts; but, I never really got much below that, after about 3 or so more years I got down to 175... but that's still over weight for my height and I want to be better then that...

I owe a lot to FatSecret... I've been on here for a couple of years now... there was a time when I took it really seriously and because of my motivation and determination at the time I got my weight all the way down to 142... at the time I still thought I looked fat... I was exhausted and annoyed, I was always hungry, always frustrated, and I finally just gave up... I took what I had for granted, I didn't appreciate where I was in my weight and because of that I'm now all the way back up to 175 again... I've watched my body physically change into something I'm embarrassed of...

I think I had to gain the weight back though so I can really appreciate what I once had… what I had once worked so desperately hard to achieve... and I'm prepared to tackle all the pain and anger that comes with losing weight again... I will do whatever it takes to morph my body back into something I can be proud of, and this time I'll know better... I'll know to appreciate it, and stop calling myself fat at 142... Hell I'll be thrilled just to be in the Lower 150's again...

So here I am FatSecret turning to you once again... begging for your help thru this terrible time... help me get thru this transition, help me lose this weight, and I promise I'll never take it for granted again...

And I hope any females that struggles every day with their weight like I do will take note if they read my profile... Do NOT take your weight for granted, be proud and grateful for any weight you lose because when it comes back you'll miss that body you had, even if it wasn't the perfection you dreamed up in your head, TRUST ME you'll miss it...

I know I do…
So here we go...

Chu know ur tired when...
I work for the city of phoenix water department as a customer service rep and I started falling asleep on the phones... so despite my desire not to consume the calories of an Iced White Mocha, I ran across the street and got an Iced White Mocha w/ non-fat milk and 5 shots of expresso... and so...

you know you're tired when your $6 coffee drink starts doing a song and dance inside your head because you're so happy to have it... we had a bonding moment... I feel so attached to this drink right now ::snuggles my Iced White Mocha:: it might be calories in my tummy but it's also my delicious little motivation to go to the gym tonight lol >.>

biggest loser contestant says she developed an eating disorder
That is a very sad story and I can actually relate on a much lighter level... last year I got hired into the academy to become a Detention Officer... after being in the academy for a couple of weeks I ended up quitting for more reasons then I would ever be able to list on here, but one of the major reasons was I do NOT like being pushed... I alone know how far my body can be pushed, and I will push it that extra 10 or 20 percent... but I will never be pushed like people are in an acamdemy...

I work off positive reinforcement, they probably would have gotten me to push alot further if they had told me how awesome I was doing and to push through... but instead they just yell at you and keep pushing and pushing by the end I was dizzy, nautious, and ready to pass out... I actually developed a fear of being instructed on my excerising, my gym gives one free session with a personal trainer and although I've been at my gym for over a year now I've never accepted the free session... because I never want to feel like I felt in that stupid academy ever again... I never want to be pushed to where I'm gonna be sick... it's not ok or alright in any way... and I mean and if a small situation like that can damange me and create a fear like that... then I can only imagine what that poor girl is going through, what a nightmare... boooooo! to that show...

No one should ever let some one push them any more beyond their limit then what they can handle... it's good to feel like you did a hard work out and to be sore... it's not ok to throw up and pass out... that's just not healthy.

How Much Weight Did You Lose Before Everyone Else Noticed?
Well anybody who's seen me after High School... has always commented on my weight loss because I use to be 230 back in high school... but since I started my new quest to get from 175 to 145 the only people that have really taken notice is my mum and my best friend... which I think both are just being nice... but someone at work that I'm not friends with or anything finally asked me if I've been losing weight... it felt good to be asked by someone who has no idea I'm trying to lose the weight... she asked me on monday so it's taken about 15 pounds for someone to take notice... but I'm sure no ones really going to pick up on it till I reach my goal...

don't let it get you down if no one is noticing yet... 15 pounds just isn't enough to catch people's attention right away... I think k8yk has it right, once you start putting on those smaller clothes I'm sure you'll get lots of comments, our old clothes hide our progress... we're all proud of you for the 15 pounds you've lost though... keep up the great work! You're Awesome ::high five::
