Dear Diary,

This weekend has been like a roller coaster ride! All in all it was a great weekend. I had to do the normal things like clean the house, made my rounds to the assisted living home and mothers house (caring for 2 people with dementia is a handfull sometimes), etc...

Bill and I rode to the mountains on Saturday and looked at a year round site to put our 5th wheel. The RV Park had 2 stocked fishing lakes and a creek running through the park. The site we are considering backs up to one of the lakes and is beautiful. Only bummer (there's alway one!) is that there is no cell coverage. Our idea was to be able to go there and work for a few days a month in the peace and quiet. Sooo we may have to keep looking. Was a fun day trip anyway!

I am looking forward to a good week. I am spending tonight organizing and getting ready for the week. We have our financial audit this week so it should be kinda quiet in the office.

Dear Diary,

I'm early at the writing table today. It's been a long and exhausting day. By the grace of God I was not even tempted to go off of my eating plan. I spent the morning getting my sister-in-law out of the hospital and into the assisted living home. She has dementia and it was a very depressing and exhausting experience. If I have to sign one more piece of paper I think I'll scream! By the time I worked a couple of hours and got home the phone rang and it was the assisted living center. She is running a fever and needs to go to the doctor tomorrow, unless it gets worse tonight then I guess we'll be in the emergency room at midnight!

Now that I have gotten that off of my chest I feel much better. I'll stop, reflect, regroup, and come away with a better attitude. Seriously, she was put in our lives for a reason and I continue to thank God for the blessings in my life. Tomorrow will be another day and I'll face it with a renewed determination to be the healthiest person I can be, one step at a time. My newest goal will be to lose 2 lbs a week.
