I was suppose to weigh in on Monday, but I was away on vacation. Considering that I went off of the diet at least 2 times while on vacation, I did ok with my weight loss. I admit that staying active with outdoor summer projects has helped me.

Happy Fathers Day to all of the other Fathers on this forum. Today I'm going to go out on the limb a little bit. I'm going to make Delmonico steaks on the grill, covered with portobello mushrooms sauteed in butter. Baked sweet potato's with cinnamon. I will also make steamed Asparagus. Watermelon for dessert. :-)

Between trying to lose weight and my high blood sugar, I wonder if my eye teeth will ever see another candy bar. I'm thinking MILKY WAY. YUM

My Dr. had asked me to exercise 30 minutes per day. I have been taking multiple short walks. Today I began using the Stationary bike. I have it parked so that I can at least watch some TV.
