Plateau
Mom2Jade- I am in the EXACT same boat as you (minus the baby Smile) I am at 135 right now and the scale will NOT budge. I get the unmotivating thing about it, its so hard to keep on pushing yourself when you're "stuck". I also have a small frame as well. People always tell me I dont need to lose weight (which is completely un-motivating!!!!!) But I know how my body is and if I can lose 15-20 pounds I know I look great.

I really think plateau's are the hardest thing about weight loss and the biggest challenge to your mindset. Reading your post made me take a deep breath and think "AHH, I'm NOT the only one!!" Maybe that can help you too? We can beat that plateau!! Another thing that helps me some is to not weigh myself everyday and think about how much healthier I will be and how much more energy I will have from doing this. That way the scale wont bring you down as much.

Good luck to you!

Fat/Carb/Protein breakdown and food advice
The "no carb" thing drives me NUTS! The moment you start eating carbs again (and I think that most people will) Bam! There is all your weight back. The no carb and extreme low carb idea is just a fad. It may melt the pounds right off of you yes, but if you're looking to be healthier and to keep your weight off, forget it. Any one else think this way?

Motivation
So, I have been trying to lose weight for the past couple months. My motivation is running on low, very low. I know many people get discouraged during their weight loss process. I am looking for some words of wisdom and advice and some MOTIVATION! Can any one help?

(The time needed the most is while on the tredmill or when that tempting food comes my way, my little phrases have lost their "touch" Very Happy)
