Well I wasn't going to weigh in but I couldn't resist. I wanted to see that there was some progress & I'm not dissapointed. I have been sticking in my calorie range and going to the gym a couple times a week. Focusing mostly on cardio right now. I know the value of strength training but I'm really pushing to increase my stamina. Lots of heart disease in my family, so I'm motivated to reduce my chances of ending up with those problems. I work in acute rehab so every day I'm caring for people who had massive strokes, End stage heart failure, brain injuries. Some of these people are in their 30s, 40s. Not old people! Every day is a humbling reminder to be grateful for what I've got. Here's to another week FS family. Remember your 'why!'

My last weigh in was a week ago. It's hard not to hop on the scale every other day, but im committed. My calorie intake has been on point. I've been to the gym a couple times. The goals are healthy eating, calorie tracking, and increasing exercise. Hoping for sustainable eating habits that will be easy to stick to long term. My newest jeans are starting to feel loose in the butt and thigh so I'm optimistic that things are headed in the right direction. :)

Non scale victory for the day - stopped eating dinner when I was satisfied. Not because it was gone. Not because it was all the calories I was alloted. Because I was satisfied. It's a process but we're getting there.
So tempted to step on the scale, but im not. I need to focus on eating well, moving more, and trusting the process. Results come from consistency.
I made some egg salad and am coming up with a food plan for work this week. Going to get up a little early so I can get in a quick kettle bell workout before work, since after work is so difficult. Here's to a new week! Good luck everyone.

Just a fluctuation. I've made all the necessary changes so I know results will follow. I saw my doctor yesterday to discuss the wall I've hit after 40lbs down. I'm following up in a month and I think ill wait to weigh in for that entire month. I tend to get frustrated when I don't see results, even though I know it takes time. Going to spend this month tracking calories, increasing activity and focusing on healthier food choices. Here goes nothing.
