I loss 9 and a half lb. I know thats lots of fluid.Could not get the weight chart to accept the half. Bit disappointed, no food all week and thats all I lost, My pal who is only 13 st was sick this week ate a bit and she lost 10. Thats me being petty but weight, how it works that some people can lose so fast and others like me cant lose it.
265.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That's a great first loss. Not sure what you mean by "no food all week", but whatever you do to lose the weight you need to keep doing to keep it off for good. So it's important to get a balanced eating and exercise plan to make the diet sustainable. It's also important to not compare yourself to others, and to keep realistic weight loss expectations. Weight loss isn't a linear line. We have weeks of doing everything right and gaining and weeks of overeating and losing. You might lose 1 pound or 5. You never know! Stay consistent and don't let anything deter you. Also, most people who lose weight when they are sick tend to gain a lot of it back because it's usually dehydration.

Oh I know the huge amount of this loss is fluid but you have to replace it with at least 3 -4 litre water each day. You are so right about comparing ourselves to others but It is so hard not too. Yes you are warned that to maintain it you have to do a maintenance week and introduce natural food very slowly, especially processed food like pasta etc
