ARGH!!!! I don't get it! I go to the gym 5 days a week and eat an average of 1600 calories, (per my nutritionist,) and I've gained almost 9 pounds. I don't get it!
228.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 73.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 2.8 lb a week

Yea that seems strange (unless you are a guy who is eating high protein and working out hard to build muscle). Are your clothes fitting any differently? If you are losing inches than that is a good thing. You might need to play around with those calories, but it seems you should be losing on that. Make sure you are eating healthier non processed foods (fruits, veggies,etc.). You could also try eating 5 or6 smalle3r meals throughout the day instead of 3 bigger ones.

hmm. maybe you are gaining muscle mass? are you drinking enough water & avoiding sodium? that's depressing.

If you clothes are loose and your lost inches then it is muscle that you are gaining which burns more calories. If nothing has changed, except pounds then more water and spread out your meals more.

I'm losing inches, because I'm noticing my stomach bulge getting smaller. :-)
