Happy New Year! I am back from vacation and I am so glad the holidays are over. I ate a lot and I mean A LOT. I started my downward spiral with this homemade toffee that is half inch thick with almonds and coated with chocolate. I figured,"Hey, I don't follow a "diet" so I will eat it" I didn't stop there. I didn't go for my walks in the park for a little over 3 weeks and that's where I burn the calories off( I know there are other places to burn them off but I was on vacation). Anyway after all that food I gained 9 lbs and I have to think that some of it is just water weight because I ate salty food too but that all ends today. I am back on track now.

Today's walk;

6.47 miles


Now I thought since i hadn't walked in three weeks I would go slower but I can just go back to what I was doing before the vacation which is great.

49 more lbs to go. . .
298.0 lb Lost so far: 37.0 lb.    Still to go: 29.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 2.7 lb a week

Welcome back on track. It's good to see you journaling again, and weighing in. I would recommend that you make it a habit to simply weigh in daily again. I see you did at some point. This keeps you MUCH more in check with what's going on, and you don't risk a 9 lb gain another time. A daily weigh-in will let you know when things go haywire. :)
