I just joined the site today but actually began Atkins (for the 5th time!) 5 days ago.

Day 5 and it is getting very challenging. I am looking up recipes and found the mock french toast one. It sounds divine and will certainly keep me on track and not too bored of the same old food choices.

I look forward to being "me" again!

If you just started (again) 5 days ago... what the heck is in the mock french toast! While I don't want you to be bored... I don't want you to fall away again either. And if you don't follow the eating plan for Induction, you will get rather lackluster results, and that will make you want to give up again. The early stage of Atkins, while limited, doesn't have to be boring. What types of foods do you like? (that are on the list). Take some time to get to know this site, and start tracking your daily foods intake. Then some of us who have been around this block awhile, would be happy to try to help you if we can. Good luck to you. I sent you a buddy request, too!

Hi and thanks for commenting on my french toast desire and being a support for me!:) the recipe I found uses pork rinds soaked in cream and states that it is 0 carbs total -sooo I thought that this would fit into the induction limits. I am eating eggs, tomatoes, sausage, peppers, cucumbers, onion - a couple of egg scrambles, roast chicken, cheese, and beef broth. I will follow your advice and spend some time on the site - thanks for the buddy request! Cheers
