Hoffner's Journal, 17 June 2016

Help! I have allowed myself to fall into the SUGAR ABYSS of Hell. I seem to crave anything sweet and once I start there is no end. NEVER have I had this problem. Will begin a walking program this morning although the humidity is a good 95%. There is no good excuse for gaining my weight back. Seven pounds is seven pounds too many. Good luck to all of you on the same journey!
137.0 lb Lost so far: 35.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

i was hooked on sugary candy..once i got all candy outta the house...it helped to kick the habit

Hey Hoffner... Your not alone, I'm a horrid sugar-holic... Coke... I have replaced with Soda water... Completly off coke's for over a month... Candy... I have replaced with real dried stevia leaves.... That works for me and has stopped my blood sugar problem... Good luck... It's tough but we can do this... Jer ; )

Your mileage may vary but when I go from bad to "behave" and stay off it (junk, sugar, bread, etc) by day 5 the cravings are over. Day 1/2 aren't bad, day 3/4 are eh, might have a headache (extra salt helps) and then it's done unless I have it again. The first four days aren't always awesome but it helps break the cycle...
