So i's now been a week and I have lost 8 lbs. Not the rate at which I wanted to lose weight because the scale seems to be stuck. I made sure it wasn't by weighing my dog and sure enough it wasn't. Things that make me sad :/

Today's walk;

.85, .86, .85 miles with a friend and 3.32 miles on my own for a total of 5.88 miles.


I did not dance last night so I did something else for my workout this morning. I now carry 4 lbs (two 2 lb weights) in each hand when I walk alone. A guy that walks and doesn't have a lot of time to walk advised me to do it and I must say i was skeptical at first even when I had the weights ut and was walking around for the first 2 laps. Well must say he was right. I did notice myself trying harder and sweating more faster. So that's how I am going to beat Bocalvr.

322.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 53.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

That is a lot of weight in a short period of time. It's important to keep weight loss in perspective and realistic. The first week is mostly water and then weight loss usually levels off. You may not see a change on the scale for a week and then it will drop. Many things factor in to weight loss including our genetics, age, current weight, diet, exercise, types food we eat, activity levels, sodium intake, ect. The important thing is to stay consistent and keep going. It all evens out. Good luck!
