Happy Tuesday Morning! I am struggling with wanting to snack. Why? I am not sure. I do not intend to give into that because once I start I cannot stop. Old habits. What a bummer. Out of the blue they come and bring back the old feelings. This time I think I am better equipped to handle those old feelings. At least I recognize what is happening and can prepare myself for it.

I am excited. Ten more days and I am off to California for two weeks to visit with my sister. We always have so much fun together. I will take my computer this time and try to keep in touch. I will not be able to weigh but I can keep my diet calendar somewhat up to date and see what I am eating.

Well it is time to finish getting ready for work so I will sign off. Have a great Tuesday. Talk to you later.

Perhaps the desire to snack is contagious. Perhaps it is the stress you are picking up from me. Sorry. You look great!!! Soon you'll be breaking into the 170's ... I can feel it!! Hang in there ... a craving doesn't mean we MUST doit ... it is simply a thought.

Those feelings - or cravings - are probably your subconscious mind wanting your body to return to the old, comfortable self-image. There's the natural, temporary 'let-down' when we achieve something we've been struggling and striving for. Questions of "Is this it?" or "Now what?" What do you do with all that energy you've been putting into this achievement? Might be a good time to set another personal goal - nothing to do with weight loss. Think about other dreams you have, choose one and GO FOR IT! Your California trip sounds exciting. Where in California? I'm in San Diego but have friends and family throughout the state.

P.S. Be patient. It may take awhile but your mind WILL come to accept the NEW YOU- the SLENDER, SUCCESSFUL, ACHIEVER! Then your self-esteem will SOAR and your feelings will match what you now see in the mirror!

I am going to Lawndale CA. It is not far from Redondo Beach, Long Beach area. Thanks for the encouragement you all. I really appreciate it.

My longtime BFF lived in Redondo Beach a couple years back; now she's in El Segundo. Have a great time with your sister....what fun you'll have surprising her with your weight loss.
