I'm making a brand new start, again, with a stronger more determined push toward my ultimate weight and fitness goals. I plan to lose the extra weight in five pound increments; and as I reach each 5 pound target to celebrate joyfully and reward myself generously - but not with food! My longterm fitness goal is to train for and run my first marathon. I figure, having procrastinated into my "golden years", there's a better and better chance of winning my age division. (Tell me that's not looking at the glass half-full!) Once upon a time, when I was younger and in better shape I loved to run. I still love to run but it hasn't been so much fun with those extra pounds tagging along. So, my goal is to dump all my extra weight and have tons of fun eating well and running (literally and figuratively) towards my own personal finish line!
I'm happy to be on this weight-loss marathon with all of you here on FS. (I wish it was, but it's not a sprint, folks.) You are the most wonderful support group!
