Day 2 - decluterring and scrubbing!
loving this workout....intimidating anyone who ventures to dirty my clean spic and span sink! hehe, my daughter confessed to waiting for me to leave the house before she had b'fast...i had the kitchen all nice and clean and smelling fresh and when she was too hungry and i was doing my zumba session, she gave up, walked into kitchen and started cooking bacon and eggs! I just reminded her to keep the kitchen as she found it...and true to her word, she cleaned up! now this young lady would normally leave the pan filled with water next to the sink and her plate and cutlery, hoping that when i next get home i would wash up....ah, this morning was bliss to see her do it for a change! I also tackled the laundry room, but spent more than the allocated time...it gets compulsive somehow! but i had to draw a line...i still need to clean the tumble dryer...someone must have used it and left all the fluff in the vents...so that will be another task...but just moving around, clearing this nook and fixing up here and there is fun....I get domestic help every Tuesday for 4 hours...I think she actually spends 3 hours cleaning cos I sometimes see her coming down from the supermarket laden with her groceries and the time is not yet up! Oh well, she does wash the floors and windows...at least if I get my house in order and do the rest of the stuff, maybe i will get the home i dream of!You know the kind, the one where you walk in from work and everything is in place and you can put on some light music, relax and just hang out comfortably...working on it...hoping to get it done by Christmas!

If you can do it yourself why pay someone else? Cleaning is a good workout. I'll join you today.

oh yes, thought of doing it all myself but i get no respect from the kids! if she comes, they lift everything off the floors and try to make their room look descent cos she's coming to clean.... If i ask them to do that it's like i'm talking to the wall and have to lift everything off myself...I also travel alot/ work very late sometimes so in my absence there is someone who can 'report' back to me on the house....and at least the basics get done once a week!

If you run out of cleaning at your house, you can come do mine. No kids, just dogs and a bird. 😉. Since I'm not at work today and it's rather nice out I might tackle the windows.

I feel you sometimes when my kids were still at home it was Impossible to get them to clean up after themselves in the kitchen :)

Grins, mine is in the midst of a very slow remodel, doing almost all the work myself as time and $$ allow. It seems I always have something torn up and half done; one of these days it will be neat and free of sawdust etc. again. Hoping by spring to have my main floor at least looking decent.
