Day 7 Elimination Diet - Day 6 Zumba incredible results program.

Survived the weekend with all it pitfalls but held up strong! Said no to icecream, chocolate doughnuts, pancakes and pasta and bottle of wine.(hubby went shopping and bought goodies!) instead went shopping also and bought some lovely turkey breast and put in the oven to cook, then sliced it up when cold and have some leftovers for lunches....also bought veggies and fruits which taste incredible - Mango is so sweet and juicy, love it just after a workout. So happy no change on the weighing scale, even though we went out on Friday Saturday and Sunday and had drinks - I limited myself to one glass of tonic water, the rest was still bottled water or 'Spice Bazaar' tea which is a mix of ginger, lemongrass, cinnamon, cardamom pods and some other bits and pieces which make a lovely brew, bought it from the supermarket, maybe i will start making my own once it's finished. I continued my Zumba program the 7 day rapid results workout and tomorrow i will check if i lost cms cos i can feel myself getting tighter, though nothing beats weights eh! I will still keep up the Zumba program for this coming week and see.

Is the Zumba program at a gym or can you purchase it for home use? Great job this week avoiding temptation! :)

I purchased the program from zumba.com, it comes with the riser and CDs, it's more uptempo than the Exhilarate program with toning sticks. I love the songs and the step workouts with the riser are even better than the gym class i go to!

Great job on staying strong this weekend! I will have to get on zumba.com and check it out.

Here is the link:http://www.zumba.com/en-US/shop/US/product/zumba-incredible-results if you love zumba this one is the best, it is a bit faster than Exhilarate but the riser really works on the butt and results are visible. Tomorrow i will measure and let you know results after 7 days in succession following their workout recommendation. If you like the stepper in gym class, this will be yours at home available any time! Cardio Party is great and they also throw in a free workout besides the 4 mentioned as a bonus - I tried this one yesterday, 1 hour - fantastic!there is a 20 minute workout and a 30 minute workout which I started out with to get a feel of the moves, there abs works on a chair is amazing, and you never lie down on the floor. So even if you just have 20 mins or 30 mins, no excuse! price is really worth it... comes also with a nutrition plan which is great if you have no idea where to start but i'm in control of that right now, so am not looking at it.

if it says wrong page, scroll down and choose train at home and dvds $59.95 (I am directing you here just in case your eyes roll to their clothes must haves!), you may need to add shipping cost to your destination. I got mine from Europe - much more expensive but worth it! love their workout gear too...got some too as a present for moi :)!

This is really awesome information (is it Jen? :) ) -- thank you so much - I am going to look into it today! I wonder if they have an online subscription-type service for videos online. I have to travel for work periodically and my new laptop (a Mac) doesn't have a DVD drive in it! Ugh.... was thinking I could take these with me, but wouldn't have the ability to play them! I have a ways to go before I buy any cute clothing but it could be motivation! Thanks again and if you have any other tips, I'd gladly listen! :) Are you located in Europe?? Lisa

for videos online, I find this website Venus Index very good plus not only it gives you tools to help you out like videos and support but it starts off with a really cool tool wherein you log on your height and weight and some other measurements and it gives you the ideal measurements and weight for your build and how much cals you should eat and how to divide those into protein and carb. I have been using this site also for motivation and Roberta Saum's blogs are so inspirational and she has a body to die for at her age. I was inspired to get going just by looking at her. I am currently working towards the goals set out on this website so go to www.venusindex.com.... I paid a small subsription i think but i found it really useful. If you follow my journals i also completed 12 weeks of Flavia del monte's workouts at the gym (she has also set for home) These i take everywhere with me... they are downloadable videos and I could load them very easily on my blackberry and I take them to the gym and i always have an instructor with me Flavia! You will become a pro on gym equipment! The website is www.flaviliciousfitness.com/ but these websites are not Zumba training - they are mostly weights based. I think Zumba may have an app for tablet but since I don't have I never searched this option. Good luck!I will share with whoever wants and is interested ....I can only help from my experiences.Yes i am located on a tiny island in the Mediterranean Sea called Malta - if you google it on google maps you have to really zoom in bang in the middle of the sea!

This is wonderful information, Jen - thank you! I found the Zumba information just fine after I scrolled down, so thank you for that as well! :) I know exactly where Malta is - I have always wanted to go there! It's so cool that you live there! Have you always? I am going to check out both Flavia and Venus today - thank you so much! I have a looooooong way to go but I will get there!! You are so close to your goal - good for you!! I know you got this!! :)

Where are you from lacapan - now you got me curious!

Hi, Jen! :) I'm from the USA - from Ohio and currently reside in Maryland (Baltimore). :) I just love anything European and always studied the cultures and geography. Oh, and my name is Lisa -- Nice to 'meet' you! :)

HI Lisa, lovely to meet you! It's a big surprise from USA Ohio to know about Malta, most people hardly know we exist, sometimes not even the Italians who are our neighbors, but since joining EU, things are changing for the better....mind you, every culture wanted our island in the past... that's why we are so mixed up :)!

Lovely to meet you as well (and hello to Gerri, too!)! :) Isn't Malta the capital of Malta? :) I think it's really an interesting little place - have always dreamed of going to the Mediterranean and perhaps even visiting, but I have not made my way there (yet!). :( Someday, I hope! I am looking into some other programs here as well in addition to Zumba and think I may opt into this program as well - the results are a little crazy (in a good way!) and a friend of mine is an independent consultant so I know she'll keep me on task and kick my rear back into shape! :) http://www.beachbodycoach.com/esuite/home/lizbollini Here's the video that got me motivated even more! http://bcove.me/9t6tcze8 I may start with this one, too, so I don't kill myself - lol http://bcove.me/o813j4dn

HI Lisa! i think bothturbofire and turbo jam are very good programs...to me Beachbody videos can get anyone going from the couch to exercising anything they want.I do a class once every week at gym similar to turbo jam and it is a real calorie burner and less high impact than turbo fire. I don't know your frame and how much you plan to lose but if it were for me, I would go for turbo jam first take a short break than graduate to turbo fire because this incorporates high jumps and is a faster paced than turbo jam. I opted for the Insanity program with Shaun and did it all! Their videos are so motivating, you look forward to having the tv to yourself and working out even though you feel like dying at times. Go for it woman and let me know how it's goin! btw, Valletta is the capital city of Malta!

Oh, I agree - I need to start on the TurboJam side. I've got a lot more to lose than you, my new friend! :) I'm about 5'4" and want to lose at least 50lbs - seriously. To look at me, many people say they don't believe I am what I am on the scale, but I still hate seeing that number!!! I have 3 kids - divorced, single mom - so I have rarely done anything to take care of myself over the years. I finally came to the realization that if I don't care of myself, I may not be around to take care of them!! I was an athlete back in school and I hate the fact that I can barely keep up outside with my kids when we're playing - I've had enough! Thank you for the motivation and so sorry for messing up the capital of your beautiful country! Lol - shows you what I know!!! :)
