Good Sunday Morning. It is nice and cool for now so I am doing some chores before it gets too hot. Another loss this morning. I am very pleased. My daughter keeps saying by mid September I will reach my first goal. Today I think it might be possible. It is hard for me to get excited about upcoming events. As a child we were always disappointed as they almost never happened. It has been a lifelong struggle for me that I constantly have to work on. I have been wanting to snack lately. Not because I am hungry but just snack. The difference is I am looking for food that is good for my body and not empty calories. Not to say I would still like to have the empty calories but I know it would sabotoge all my success thus far.

I'm new to this site (this is my 3rd official day). I want to lose 40# before my birthday (#57) in December and your success is extremely encouraging that it can be done! Whatever you're doing; it's worked great. Congratulations. Looks like you're extreme diet journey will end very soon....and you look great. P.S. In what part of Idaho do you live? I'm in San Diego but have been as far north as Sandpoint. Beautiful, beautiful country.

I am in the panhandle of Idaho. We are 58 miles from Canada and yes it is beautiful. I do not think of it so much as a diet but as a journey in changing my eating habits and never having to go through this again. At age 69 I can tell you over the years I have been on all the "diets" just to go back to old eating habits and doing it again.
