My plan has been to weigh in on the same day every week. Earlier this week I was on the right track with my weight loss and had gone down two pounds by midweek. Then this past weekend it all fell apart. I went away this weekend, so I missed going to the gym on Friday and fell out of tracking all of my food. On top of that, I came down with a really wicked cold which wiped me out of all motivation to eat healthy. The end result: one week later and I am the exact same weight as last week. I'm glad that at least I didn't gain any weight. Once this cold subsides I will get back to the gym, and my food monitoring will resume today. Hopefully I will be able to make up for it and lose 3-4 pounds next week so I can keep on track. I am very bummed about this, but I guess every dieter goes through pitfalls like this. I can't lose motivation, I can do this!
187.2 lb Lost so far: 6.8 lb.    Still to go: 37.2 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
