Arrgh, now I'm getting really aggravated. I've been doing so well lately. Eating great, working out, burning calories. According to my calorie deficit I should have lost almost a pound in the last 3 days. Instead I'm still hanging around this stupid weight.

Everyone's going to tell me I'm not eating enough calories, but then why do so many other people seem to be eating the same amount of calories as I do and they lose like 4 lbs a week? And my parents did the same thing.

Meh, I know I'm whining. I know I'll get over this hump eventually. It's just really frustrating. Plus, I'm going to the Haight Street Fair today and I've been really looking forward to it, but now I'll be worried all day. I will probably have to eat there and I can't help but worry about it making me suddenly gain two pounds that I have to spend another few days working those off before I break even, and get back to actually losing weight again. That's exactly what's happened the last two weekends.

Grrrrrr.

You don't have a lot to lose, so it may take some extra time and hard work to come off. If you are doing everything right, it will show. Are you measuring yourself? Many times we don't see the scale move like we want to, but we lose fat/inches. You can go down in sizes and still stay the same weight. Don't compare yourself to others. We all have diffent genetics and metabolisms. What works for one may not work for another. Just make sure you are eating enough to fuel your body and workouts. If you don't, you can stay the same or even gain. You might try varying your calories daily or eating 5 or 6 smaller meals (with protein at each meal) instead of 3 big ones. Keep trying different things till you find what works for you. You are doing great things for yourself. Have patience (even though it's frustrating). Just keep going and know that you will get to your goal eventually.
