erwinwarrior83's Journal, 21 February 2014

I'll take it....still experimenting with the fats and carbs, and still carb heavy. Still too hungry late in the evening. GOT to get more active. Going to visit Curves next Wednesday to see if I want to join again (see my journal for that discussion), I'm still leaning that way above everything else I've considered. On to the next week :)

Good Job! I hope the visit to curves goes well. Have you tried adding some higher fiber snacks at night to help you feel fuller. I sometimes get those fiber one brownies. Delicious and usually makes me filled full with just one. Also, try sipping lemon water.

I am really looking at the fiber content now too, because I know that helps negate the carb effect. I like the Fiber One 90 Cal Chewy bars and those brownies. Also found an Atkins bar that is ok. Wasa makes a fiber flatbread that is good with cottage cheese. Always looking for new ideas.

I loved Curves. I'm thinking of joining again too. Wanna hear something funny? All this time, when I looked at your profile picture, I thought they were 2 different people. It suddenly dawned on me that they are both YOU! Then I saw just how much you've lost and my gosh ... well, my jaw is still on floor. Weight watchers is a GREAT program. That's for sure! *Congratulations*.. you're doing SO GOOD!

Thank you Babe53! I appreciate the kind words. I've even lost 10 pounds since the "after" photo (at Christmas)...I'm still in "during" mode right now. And I'll let you in on a secret.....shhhhh....that's not my heaviest. I can't find a photo of me at my heaviest and unfortunately I did not take one last May when I started WW, I sure wish I had. I love my WW :)

Erwinwarrior - eat more fat in the evenings. Even if it means just eating a tablespoon of coconut oil raw. Anyway, coconut oil or other short chain fat will take care of the being hungry late in the evening. Promise. OH, you could make these and make the evening fat feed tastier - http://tifanietbd.blogspot.com/2013/04/fat-bombs.html (1.6 g carbs each)
