Happy New Year All. And thank you for being a great community.
Quiet celebrations here yesterday.

I am a little down compared to last year this time but maybe a pound more than I feel like I should be so still some work to do. But I am stronger and more fit and may have a bit more lean body mass. Metabolism is still very good. I think overall I did well.

Will workout today. Egull1's suggestions of inner thigh exercises have been really helpful. I can already feel the result I think.

And ... still has to make some abs for 2021

I live in Southern California so there is almost never a day that I can’t get out and hike or at least walk rolling hills. That pretty much takes care of thighs, calves, clears my mind and feeds my soul all at the same time.

Thank you all. Egull1 mentioned her inner thigh exercises in her December 20th post. She said she started sumu deadlifts. So those are the ones I do to but also sprinkled in with sumo squats and the yoga pose called godess (with lifting heals). I could feel that I had worked that area after the first day and as I say I think it is stronger. It is very important for knee strength and for my running to have strong abductors. Had a good workout yesterday ... feeling this one in my shoulders... today is running (and chicken soup with leeks)

Thanks all. I am telling myself I am fine. I think it may working a bit. LOL. Exercise or moving is an important part of it all. I wanted to lose weight so I could do stuff like run and bike and I am doing it. I have ankle weights and bands that I would thighs with but I really think that as Egull said these sumo deadlifts I really can feel and that is without doing 200 repetitions.
