Good morning!

Wow. The last weeks of NOT controlling what I have been doing, along with too many weeks of fun, along with stress for two has taken its toll.

I'm down in weight this morning, and I am more than thankful for that, but what's more important is that I feel that when I count my calories, and count my exercise, then I feel CONTROL.

I'm definitely back to recording my food intake and recording my exercise.

So, what's the damage?

Well, today I am down in weight by 1.2 kilos. Not bad at all, and I'm thankful for that.

However, I see that my bodyfat% is highter than it has been in AGES. It's all the way up to frickin' 14.3%! This is NOT acceptable for me!

I'm definitely in need of taking charge.

So, I will record my foods, I will record my exercise. I will do what I know works, and I will make it work.

...

Yesterday was hectic to say the least. I went to the gym and did my workout at 6 am! After this, I went for my daily walk, and before I even reached work I had reached 10,000 steps.

Work yesterday was essentially visiting a local factory that makes insulin for diabetics. It was REALLY interesting to get to see the place from the inside.

It was massive - the size equals 270 soccer fields!

Of course, this included a lot of walking too, as did my work at the gym afterwards. I was literally active all day, and ended up at 25,000 steps!

...

Today is gonna be somewhat the opposite.

We have a special day at work where it's all classes and courses, some entertainment, and good food. I dread it, to be honest.

This - to me - equals: No movement. Too many calories. Boo.

I will compensate by walking an extra long walk before work, and by eating VERY sensible at lunch - or simply skipping it if I can't find anything worth (for me) to eat.

I better get going - time is short if I want to do my walk.

Have a great day, everyone!

TOday, I am thankful for:
- Wife. THe most awesome person in the world.

... At least you have experimented and realised, that recording is the way to go for you. I hope the 'special' day at work isn't too harrowing.
