I had a loss this week, I'm glad to be down again. I think most of that is because I wasn't feeling the greatest over the weekend. I did get my workouts in, but felt nauseous off and on, which was probably good because then I wasn't eating like crazy. I even made monster cookies for my kids and didn't go crazy with them like I normally would have. I ate a few over the weekend, but every time I ate one it just wasn't as good as I thought it would be because I wasn't really hungry. Maybe it's hormones, I got off the Depo shot a little over a month ago and maybe that's messing with me. We'll see how this week goes.

I am going to try to get back on track with my workouts. Today is a rest day, but I may do a short ab workout this evening while dinner is cooking. Tomorrow is the first day of school, so I'm hoping I can get the morning workout routine going again. It seems like I'm always up earlier during the school year because I know we have to leave at a certain time and I have to get the kids going, so I'm hopeful I can get back into the swing of things.

Today I'll be busy at work and there will be a lot of up and down, so that is good. And tonight is open house at school, so we get to meet the teachers and see the classrooms. Hopefully all the running around will counteract the pizza we're eating for dinner. :)

This is the first year of school for my two :) I think I'll be more organized and be able to get workouts in while they're in school. Congrats with the loss. I hope you feel better.

The depo shot can really mess with your hormones. I was on it for a couple years and I was a mess when I finally stopped doing it. Just remember to take care of yourself and blame everything on the hormones.

That's awesome! Congrats on the loss and for feeling slightly better. You pushed thru even when you didn't feel 100% and that's great. You are committed to yourself! Great job on staying away from the monster cookies. Good luck tomorrow with the back to school job!

Thanks!! I'm still not super hungry this afternoon, but I'm kind of hoping that sticks around so I don't eat horribly this evening. :) I read some things on the depo shot today that say if you take it for a long time (I've been on it 5 years) you can experience nausea when you stop, so this should pass soon.

I've had a hungry day big time, so know the feeling, even wanted choc and ice-cream. just saw my calories. oh my, too huge. gotta get it under control
