Try cutting out the Atkins bars, shakes, and cany for a couple of weeks. They can cause what looks like a plateau, but it's really more of a stall in many people. Or, if you must have them, try once a week only. Either way, great job on not giving up!

Yes, I will try, but they are so convenient when one is on the go all the time. I actually finished my induction of 2 weeks and started to add berries as of today. Mi had no control I missed them so much and ended up eating a cup full. Anyway, thanks so much for the encouragement , I really need it.

You're very welcome. That's what seems to keep most of us going here, being encouaged and encouraging others! I love berries...I know what you mean about missing them, I'm determined to stay on Induction for a total of 6 months for health reasons. I do carry a Quest Bar Protein Bar in my purse just in case. I like the Quest Bars better than Atkins because many of the flavors contain no sugar alcohols (which raises my blood sugar and throws me out of losing and into cravings), they are high fiber, high protein, and I like the taste.

Quest bars, what are the net carbs in those? I too wanted to stay on induction for a longer time, but when I saw the raspberries on sale (4 boxes for $5). I had to by Buy them in bulk, I got 12 boxes. I am so proud of myself, I cleaned them up and put them in half cups portions and froze them. This way if I am ever having a craving I will have a portion. Please pass me any ideas you have to help me motivated and positive. Merci .

questproteinbars dot com lists the nutritional info for their flavors. Most of the ones that I like are 2-4 net carbs, some are 6. Main thing I can recommend at this moment--become involved here. Join several groups, find a challenge to join, read what others are writing and respond, etc. Been a lifesaver for keeping me accountable and motivated!
