I'm disappointed in the gain. I didn't think I ate too terrible, but had too much processed food. I'm really bloated and retaining water. I'm having a real problem with sodium, if I get too much my hands and feet swell up. This week I am going to try to incorporate more whole foods, keep up with exercise, and just generally be happy.

Self magazine has a green smoohie for the mornings that is supposed to restore electrolytes and reduce puffiness. It has banana, pear, kale, milk, pistachios, and ginger. Not sure how it is going to taste, but I'm going to get the stuff to make it and try one this week.

Weekend was nice, got to spend a lot of time outside, FINALLY!!! Hoping to get a walk in at lunch as long as the rain holds off, however it is super windy and I have a skirt on so I may still have to walk inside at the mall rather than outside.

Totally unrelated to weight loss, exercise, or diet. I stayed up too late last night, but had to watch Vikings. It was so good I couldn't sleep after it was over. I am totally obsessed with this show!!

I am wanting to do more whole foods also, but it's hard for me to commit to. I can do great all day, then blow my calories out of the water at dinner. The weekend was nice here too, but windy, and today is warm but humid, then the next couple of days call for snow. BOO! I have seen Vikings advertised and wanted to watch it, but just haven't caught it yet. I keep hoping they'll re-run it so I can watch.

I know, I'm having a hard time committing to whole foods too! My not so good time is in the morning and at work, if I don't pack enough snacks then I get into the candy bowl at work. Need to make sure I bring enough food with me! It is a bit humid here today too and I heard they were calling for snow your way! Yuck! Hope it doesn't hit ya! Vikings is really good. I'm sure they'll rerun it. I told my hubby I hoped they did an all day marathon of it so I could watch it all over again, lol.

I have read that bananas are great for bloat which is why even though they are high carb I put them in my protein shakes. At least I came back to decent weather here... Almost 70 the next 2 days... then rain and YIKES possibly snow booooooooo!

I hope you don't get snow. I've heard that about bananas. I had one before I went to bed last night, lol.
