Tomorrow I finally get my new bridge and will hopefully be able to eat healthily again. I've done my best under the circumstances. My daughter and I stayed in a fleabag hotel for a week--no microwave, no mini-fridge. Thankfully there was ice and we had a cooler. But it's still very difficult to eat soft food without being able to cook it or blend it, etc. My diet consisted pretty much of avocados, bananas, tuna fish, cottage cheese, applesauce and ramen. At least once a day we had a meal out, but that was limited to fish, and always potatoes--I'm sick to death of potatoes--or pasta, but even that was inedible if they didn't cook it soft enough. Without my bridge, I have ZERO grinders. I was able to have scrambled eggs and cheese omelettes and pancakes with sugar free syrup. One meal the only thing I could eat was a biscuit with butter and jelly. That's fine if you are going to have lunch and dinner later, but I only had two meals of meager proportions per day.

I haven't lost any weight which surprises me except I know my diet hasn't been very balanced, but every day I walked the neighborhoods around the hotel or drove to a beautiful hiking trail. When we got home, my husband said I looked thinner, so there's that. I'm looking forward to walking with my dog this morning!
