Seeing the effect of yesterday's food problems today with a slight increase in weight. Went easy for breakfast. just things I could pick out of the fridge and eat. (boiled eggs, broccoli and cheese) Didn't feel like cooking this morning.
I got a crock-pot yesterday and am looking forward to slow-cooking some meals. Have to go shopping today to get some veggies and other stuff for slow-cooking. :)
I've got a book: 1001 Low-Carb Recipes by Dana Carpender. I'm going to be planning my meals around recipes in that book so I will be shopping with those in mind. My third week on Atkins is gonna be STELLAR! No more boring same-old meals.

Another great thing to have on stock is a rottiserie chicken. Really helps to just grab when you are busy. Best of luck, it's wonderful you are making preparations.

All the rotisseries I see at the grocery store have sugar added, though. When I go shopping, I'm going to buy a whole chicken and drop it in the crock-pot. Then I'll have chicken to snack on. :)

Hmm, the one I get from my local grocer doesnt, but I know the ones from Wal-Mart do. But Im sure it'll be much better if you can do your own.
