Morning! Well, I fell off the wagon only slightly yesterday. I took a pasta salad from Martin's to the cookout and called ahead to see what they were gonna have for food. Nothing too terribly unhealthy. I stayed away from the desserts, took water along, and had fruit instead of dessert, but my big splurge was on bratwurst! I ate it plain, but it was between roast chicken and bratwurst and I couldn't make up my mind. As my husband said, "You SHOULD have chicken, but you WANT bratwurst. That is all the dilemma is. Oh go ahead and have your holiday meal honey." That was all the excuse I needed. OMG! It was DELICIOUS. Anyhow, I was able to calculate my calories as I ate the meal so that I didn't do anything too outrageous. Having that calorie counter as a constant reinforcement really keeps me honest. Since I skipped my morning snack, I allowed myself a bigger lunch, but afterwards, man was I sleepy and lethargic! My husband seriously had to keep repeating himself like ten times on our way home because I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying at all. When I got home, I exercised right away and that helped wake me up. Then had a small snack and a small dinner. Stayed within my calorie range and didn't gain any weight, (although I didn't lose any either). Overall, a success I would say.

Now if I can just keep on track with this TV challenge I should have a very good week!
178.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 38.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
