So I've been whining and moaning all week because I'm a big baby. Well, I need to get over it. I am 2.4 pounds away from my first mini-goal! I am so excited because my end date for this mini goal was August 17th, and I have 3 weeks left to lose those 2.4 pounds. I can definitely do this!

I started jogging 3x a week with my dog, though let me tell you he isn't too happy about this most of the time. He gets tired before I do, so I feel bad. But he sticks it out, that little trooper :3 I'll have to post a picture of him. Overall, I've lost 3 inches around my belly button since June 29, and 1.37 inches under my rib cage. I haven't been able to do 300 situps yet, but I'm on 200, and should definitely be on 300 by the end of next week. I'm feeling good today, so I might even go swimming!

Wednesday is my anniversary, and my boyfriend and I will be going out to some fancy place to eat. Let me tell you, that day I will definitely not be restricting myself to 1200 calories. Hopefully one day doesn't mess me up for good! haha :P

Sounds like you are doing amazing!! Keep up the good work! I really would love to have some of your motivation! I have never tried the mini-goals, so perhaps that would work well for me too :) Any motivational tips for me??

Thank you! (: I would really suggest doing the mini goals. It makes it seem a lot less than what it is you're trying to lose. Also, if you cut your caloric intake by 500 calories each day, you lose about a pound to two pounds a week. So if your body burns around 1700 - 1900, you should eat around 1200 - 1400 calories a day. One big thing I found is drink a lot of water! And no matter what your caloric intake is, make sure to keep it constant every day (you can go +- 50 calories, but keep it around the same). It makes your body get used to what you're eating, and it doesn't hold on to that weight either! I hope that helps. (: That's what I try to do. Eating 1200 calories a day is really hard at first, until your body gets used to it, so if you decide to go that route, let me know, and I'll totally support you through it! I wish you lots of luck :D
