no loss, no gain, again! :( I eat only foods allowable on the Atkins plan, I measure the amounts and keep a food diary,....guess I will have to study on this some more.....Stress levels at work have increased, I will have to recheck on the snacks....."hand to mouth disease" may have cropped up even though the snacks are allowable...I hate to think my meds are messin' with me again!
264.0 lb Lost so far: 20.0 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

You are doing so very wonderfully!! Keep it up. And to lose so well despite meds that interfere. I know the story all too well. But it does work if you keep at it and it looks like you're on a roll! My cholestrol is up, though. It's never been high and now is over 300!! I am a bit concerned You are doing great - keep it up.

Unfortunately meds have a huge impact on our inability to lose weight. There still might be some foods that you are sensitive to that are on the plan but aren't right for your body. Common allergens are wheat (no problem there unless you consume "low carb" bread and tortillas), milk and dairy, soy (found in Atkins bars), corn (really no problem there), eggs (sometimes people are allergic to the white only or the yolk only, this is a tricky one), different kinds of nuts but especially peanuts and there is more, but foods you tend to crave are usually an indication of a sensitivity. Sensitivities are different than allergies, you can't test for them without eliminating the food altogether, but they do make your weight stall. Message me for more info on this.

The 2 things I have recently added were 1) 1 to 2 ozs mixed nuts and 2) Atkins Advantage bars. One, or both, are probably the culprit. I am doing this week without the Atkins bars, I knew they were too good to be true. I never did figure out how they only counted as 3 net carbs. Learn by living.
