New week, new weight. I've been on a downward trend lately, so that's good. I didn't eat the best this past weekend, but I did do better than I normally would have when we have people over. We had family over Saturday night and grilled, and that would usually mean eating a bunch of junk, but we had some fruit and I chose lean meat instead of a fatty steak for dinner. I did the 5K Saturday too, and luckily it stopped raining right before we started, it was chilly, but once I was running it was fine. I was able to run the whole thing, just not super fast. I finished, I didn't walk, and did better than I thought I would, so I'm proud of myself. My hubby and BIL did the 10K and they did great too, my hubby actually got second place, so I'm proud of him. The feeling of accomplishment crossing the finish line is always a mood booster.

Now this week, back to my normal routine, hopefully. I'm planning to get my regular workouts in, which I'm looking forward too, and on the weekend I may go for a run. I realized how different my muscle use is after that 5K, my quads were on fire! I would love to see if I can increase my speed too.
