Happy with the weight this morning 144.5. I expect as I work on maintaining this will fluctuate a bit but I'm not going to stress about it. I was surprised to see the scale move down a bit since I had a little splurge at book club last night; Irish coffee (with whipped cream on top!) and some Irish soda bread that was more like a scone. This is part of my new life style; to learn to enjoy an occasional splurge. It is all okay as long as I stay in MODERATION.
My daughter has a doctor's appointment this morning. They will do another ultrasound as the baby has been measuring big. Due date is April 7th but was March 28th by dates. I'm an old fashioned nurse, I believe the traditional calculation by dates is more accuarte but we'll see! I CAN NOT WAIT TO ENTER THIS NEW STAGE OF MY LIFE; BEING A GRANDMA! On a silly note, they have a beagle and they have taken us up on our offer to take Maggie for awhile - to give them a little time to adjust before introducing the dog to the new baby. So my daughter has her bag packed for the hospital and Maggie (the grand-dog) has her bag packed now to come and stay with "Grandma & Grandpa."
