Forgive me father, for I have sinned. I slipped and fell into four slices of pizza last night. I didn't have anything made ahead for dinner because it was a class night and I was stretched for time getting out the door. Evidently DH didn't feel like whipping up anything either because he ordered pizza. Damn. A little Caesars pizza I could pass, yuck, but he had to order from domino's... with bacon on it. The temptation overcame me. And I threw back a handful of chocolate chips for good measure.
Started off my morning with a walk alongside my dog. One hour forty minutes and like a million steps ought to balance things out. He's not loving his diet, I caught him in the cat food bowl. I'm not the only one cheating around here. Shame Shame.
I'm doing my best to stay on track and combat the junk food cravings. Always hard after a splurge weekend to fully devote yourself, again. Sticking around the 188 mark, not expecting a drop on the scale tomorrow and that's okay. Although maintaining is not the ultimate goal (with a loss out of the mix) it's definitely better than the alternative.
I'll be preparing all of my meals from home today :).
Have a good day buddies.

It can be tough getting fully back on track after a holiday splurge, I always struggle with it, still am now to a semi-controlled degree...ate a small muffin earlier if we're confessing our food sins here. But the good news is as long as we do get back on track it's just a bump in the road. Doc Jim's orders are: get those steps in, adjust calories and especially carbs back for a day or two, drink 2 gallons of water, weigh in the morning. :) Have a good one.

That was great. (well not for you, but to read.) I think there's plenty of us that fall into that scenario at this time of year with our busy schedules.

One day at a time , you repented of your sins so the past is behind you. Jump right back on the wagon today. On the other hand I bet the pizza tasted great!!

My coach told me a cheat day should be followed with a good diet day. We all have our days.

Been there! It is much harder to get will power back after you let it slip a little. I'm figuring that out right now. You'll get back to the routine. :)

Too funny - you and the dog too! LMAO No worries though, knowing you, you are already back on the wagon. Today's a new day.
