Turned down pizza, a chicken bacon ranch sub, chocolate chip cookies and combos last night only for my mother in law to bring us a box of thin mint girlscout cookies Today. *sigh* And the war wages on.

You did good! Pizza is a trigger food for me so I commend anyone who can walk away from a nice pizza. The other foods you listed, I could have turned down and have turned them down many times. So many people in our lives keep trying to tempt with tasty foods.

Omg. Not thin mints!!!! Those are my favorites!!!! Hang in there. At least it was just one box brought to you guys. Im thankful I have not seen any girls scouts selling cookies. Thankfully. Hang in there!!

You showed a lot of strenght resisting the other stuff, hard to resist those girl scout cookies when they're right under your nose. They were selling them at the grocery store yesterday, I gave them a donation and got far away quickly..

The problem is not the cookies themselves but the amount we want, and do, eat. LOL Been there, know what it's like. I think Weight Watchers has it right when they say to include some things like this in your diet, and forgive yourself for the occasional overindulgence. I, myself, can't control myself, so I don't even have one.

Isn't it funny how they call them Thin Mints? I bet if they were called Fat Mints we might have an easier time resisting.
