Late journal for me today, but better late than never. I am starting my weekend after work today, so woo hoo for that, but it will be a busy few days. Hopefully I can get a workout in after work today. Last night I got about 3 miles in, and tonight will hopefully be a DVD.
I am canning my cinnamon pickles tonight, finally! It's been a long process, so I really hope they turn out tasty. I grew up eating them and they taste like candy, but my hubby and kids are already turning their noses up at them, hopefully they like them when they taste them. If they're good I'll be giving some jars away. Tonight I may try to do some dill pickles also since they don't take as long to make and I need to get rid of all those cucumbers!
Tomorrow the influx of people start coming to our house. My hubby wants to go out to dinner with everyone so there's less mess and then everyone is paying for their own food. It's going to be hard though because there will be about 20 of us eating, so we'll see if we can find a place big enough. I told him to call and try for reservations at a couple of places today, but I'm sure he didn't, they are not planners, so I'm sure things will change at dinnertime tomorrow. I'm ready for my little nieces to get here though, they are so precious! It will be nice to kick back and just play this weekend. :)
I probably won't be back on here until at least Monday, so I hope everyone has a great weekend!!
*EDIT: Well I just got a call from my hubby that we are shopping for food and stuff today instead of tomorrow, so no workout for me other than what I get in from shopping. Darn it! I guess that means I'll have time to do a good one tomorrow.*
