They Lie! We went to a farmers market this morning and picked out some fresh vegetables. A cantaloupe, a couple ears of sweet corn,(for my Husband) a bag of green beans and of course eggs. On the way out my husband picked up a box of tomatoes. They were not home grown. BEWARE, if they look too perfect chances they are hot house tomatoes and not the home grown ones. I knew just as soon as I cut in to one the texture wasn't right. The rest of the things we bought were just fine. We had eggs and sausage for breakfast with sliced tomatoes. The tomatoes were a disappointment, but live and learn. I could have got the same tomatoes at Walmart for less money if I wanted hot house tomatoes.

I noticed this week a lot of roadside stands and saw the tomatoes and thought...hmmm too perfect and pink. So I'll wait another couple of weeks for mine. Sorry for the disappointment.
