Although I know that I am not stopping or quitting my dieting habits, I do get a lil thrown or discouraged when I stp on the scale daily and see a gain...no matter how small, when I know that I know that I know that I have been dieting well under my BMR and exercising 20 and 30 minutes a day. I understand that the body flunctuates and blah blah blah but it is still discouraging no matter the reason. I will definitely still be dieting for sure, but I can't help but hope that tomorrow stepping on the scale yields a loss after 2 days of a gain. I mean geez...I'm 370sum, why should little flunctuations affect me when I have alot to lose. Why does the body do this to me....ARGH!!!

I went almost two weeks at the same weight, and was able to go through food journal with counsellor and find out I was eating too many eggs, etc, so had too much fat in my diet....I couldn't see it, until it was pointed out, but it could be a really simple little tweak needed. Also, try drinking even more water....I did that yesterday, and had 1.5 lbs fall off....Easy to retain water, which can be discouraging. Keep up the good work!

Yea I barely even drink water...I hate the stuff. But today I am forcing myself to down 64oz or more....already downed 24oz so far which is like 20 more than usual...lol

I know how you feel, sometimes i work so hard and then i get on that scale and it just crushes my spirits. But then sometimes the next weigh in is more than expected. Just hang in there and focus more on how you feel by dieting and exercise. Also i have found it helpful to do measuements. At least to see the numbers go down there as well. Good Luck!

Thanks Macaroon & Zeikiya. I need these words of wisdom and understanding to avoid cheating or quitting....knowing I am not alone makes a huge difference...
