I've been doing really well on paleo diet for the last week, with the exception of an occasional small piece of dark chocolate and salting everything even though paleo avoids salt. But I have really low blood pressure, so I just have to do it. I lost 2kg, and even though I know that it is probably mostly water weight, it is nice to see that the number is getting lower.
All week I've been fearing this weekend because I'm visiting my mom for 3 days and I know that the weekend will be full of temptations. It is easy to follow paleo when you stock your fridge with paleo-friendly foods, but less so when you're watching TV with your mom and she offers you chips. So I had some. It was only a bit, but I still know I shouldn't have.
I will put in more effort tomorrow. Meatloaf, rice and cabbage salad for lunch - I'll skip the rice, and I honestly doubt the meatloaf is 100% paleo, but I'll just have to make it work.
So my goal for this weekend is to eat as paleo as I can and get back on track when I go home. Fingers crossed!
