What is a cheat meal?

I don't do "Cheat" meals....I find that for ME, allowing myself to "cheat" is allowing this to become a "diet" instead of an entire lifestyle change. It's completely psychological for me.

I WILL occasionally have a day where I am not concerned so much with my macros and will eat an abundance of calories...but the food choices are still clean. I don't even keep "dirty" items (starchy carbs, empty calories etc) in the house anymore.

I think its better not to cheat. My downfall is living with 2 other adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 6. So I cant control what comes into the house. There has been times especially when I am depressed I think for a second to just eat it but I don't. My problem is I really don't know what I can eat. I mean I feel I have been doing good considering I don't exercise. I don't understand what is the lowest amount of calories to eat to be safe. Not that I want to lose faster its just I am not used to eating 3 meals a day. Since I found out I have diabetes and hypothyroidism vitamin d deficiency diabetic neuropathy high triglycerides and along time having bulging discs in my lower back its hard to exercise but I finally am motivated to lose weight. I have been to a couple different doctors and nutritionist and I ask what I can eat and I leave the office visit with just what I already know. I upset because I don't know what I am suppose to do but I am not discourged to where I am going to give up. According to the doctor scales I lost 27 pounds in 27 days so I must be doing something right. So the grand total of the total weight I have lost is 50 pounds. I don't understand why I am still in the same size clothes because on the commercials people lose 2 and 3 sizes in less weight loss then I have. I just don't know but I don't want to give up but I don't know how much frusteration I can go thru. I am just happy I I don't eat all the junk food.
